• Refund Policy


    Order Processing & Cancellation

    At CoutureStep, we meticulously prepare your swimwear orders with care. Orders begin processing within 4 hours of purchase (longer than standard sites to ensure quality checks). You may cancel for a full refund only during this pre-processing window by emailing [email protected]. After 4 hours, cancellations cannot be accommodated as our team starts tailoring your swimsuits, but our 21-day return window offers flexibility.


    Returns & Exchanges

    We stand behind our swimwear craftsmanship. You have 21 days from delivery date (extended from industry standard) to return or exchange items—accounting for vacation schedules and multiple fitting sessions. Exchanges are permitted for size/color variations of the same style or alternate swimwear of equal value from our current collection. Seasonal items may have different policies as noted at checkout.


    Return Requirements

    Swimwear must be returned with original hygiene liners intact, unworn/unwashed, with all tags attached (including CoutureStep's authenticity tag). For hygiene reasons, we cannot accept returns on bikini bottoms without protective liners. Items must be shipped back in the original dust bag or similar protective packaging to prevent snags. Any signs of wear, makeup stains, or altered fit (e.g., adjusted straps) will void eligibility.


    Exchange Protocol

    Exchanges require pre-approval via our returns portal. For size exchanges, we'll ship the new item within 7 business days (longer than standard to verify inventory for swimwear sets). Style exchanges depend on current collection availability—during peak season (May-August), popular sizes may require backorder. Price differences exceeding $25 will require additional payment before shipment. All exchanged swimwear undergoes the same quality inspection as new orders.


    Return Shipping & Fees

    A $15 return shipping fee applies to all non-defective swimwear returns, covering specialized handling and sanitation processes. This fee is waived if the return results from our error (wrong item shipped or manufacturing defects). International returns are subject to additional customs fees. CoutureStep provides a prepaid return label for defective items—email [email protected] to request one within 7 days of delivery.


    Refund Processing

    Refunds are processed within 14-21 business days after we receive your return (extended timeframe for swimwear quality verification). The amount will reflect the original payment method minus any shipping fees. Sale items are refunded at purchase price. Note that banks may take 3-5 additional days to post the credit. You'll receive email confirmation with detailed breakdown once processed.


    Special Considerations

    Custom-made or monogrammed swimwear cannot be returned. Final sale items are clearly marked during checkout. For hygienic reasons, we cannot accept returns on swimwear if the hygiene strip has been removed or if the garment shows water marks. During holiday seasons (December-January), processing times may extend by 3-5 business days due to high volume.


    Refund Discrepancies

    If your refund hasn't appeared after 21 business days: (1) Verify with your bank that no pending transactions exist (2) Check your spam folder for CoutureStep's refund confirmation (3) Contact [email protected] with your order number and bank statement screenshot. We'll initiate a trace with our payment processor and resolve within 7 business days. For PayPal refunds, please allow 30 days for cross-border processing.
